Three Quick and Easy Chutney Recipes

Here in this video, Lekshmi Nair demonstrates the easiest method of preparing three easy chutney recipes.

The three recipes included in this video are Homestyle Tomato Chutney, Coconut Red Chutney, and Restaurant Style White Coconut Chutney which are ideal for breakfast meals like idli and dosa.

1) Ingredients (For Homestyle Tomato Chutney):-

  • Big Onion- 1 Big
  • Tomato- 2 Big
  • Green Chillies- 2 Nos (Medium Size)
  • Garlic- 3 Big Flakes
  • Refined Oil- 1 Tbs
  • Salt – According To Taste
  • Asafoetida- 1/2 Tsp
  • Kashmiri Chilli Powder- 1 Tbs

For Tempering:-

  • Refined Oil- 1 Tbs
  • Mustard Seeds- 1 Tsp
  • Fenugreek Seeds- 1/2 Tsp
  • Dry Red Chillies- 3 to 4 Nos
  • Curry Leaves

2) Ingredients (For Homestyle Coconut Red Chutney):-

  • Coconut (Grated)- 1 Cup
  • Ginger- 1 Small Piece
  • Small Onion (Shallots)- 3 Nos
  • Kashmiri Chilli Powder- 1 1/2 Tbs
  • Salt- According To Taste
  • Green Chilli- 1 Nos

For Tempering:-

  • Coconut Oil- 1 Tbs
  • Mustard Seeds- 1 Tsp
  • Small Onion (Sliced)- 1 1/2 Tsp
  • Dry Red Chillies- 3 to 4 Nos
  • Curry Leaves
  • Salt- According To Taste

3) Ingredients (Restaurant Style White Coconut Chutney):-

  • Coconut (Grated)- 3/4 Cup
  • Small Onion- 2 Nos
  • Green Chilies- 2 Nos
  • Pottukadalai (Bengal Gram Roasted)- 2 Tbs
  • Salt- According To Taste

For Tempering:-

  • Coconut Oil- 1 Tsp
  • Mustard Seeds- 1 Tsp
  • Dry Red Chillies- 3 to 4 Nos
  • Curry Leaves
