How to Make Easy Uppumavu in 5 Minutes?

Uppumavu is one of the quickest breakfast recipes which anyone can easily make. IN this video, I demonstrate two types of tasty uppumavu.

At first, let’s have a quick look at the ingredients of the same.

Type 1

  • Roasted Semolina (roasted rave) – 1 Cup
  • Big Onion (Finely CHopped) – 1/4 Cup
  • Ginger (Finely Chopped) 1 1/2 tsp to 1 tbs
  • Green Chillie – 1 (Finely CHopped)
  • Boiling Water – 1 1/4 Cup
  • Cashew Nut – 5 to 6 (Chopped)
  • Salt
  • Grated Coconut – 1/2 Cup (Optional)

For tempering

  • Oil – 1 tbs
  • Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
  • Whole grams – 1 tsp
  • Dry Red Chillies – 3 (Broken)
  • Curry Leaves

Type 2

  • Roasted Semolina (Roasted Rava) – 1 Cup
  • Big Onion (Finely CHopped) – 1/4 Cup
  • Green Chillies (1) – Finely Chopped
  • Ginger (Finely CHopped) – 1 tbs
  • Cashewnuts – 5 to 6
  • Carrot Grated – 1/4 to 1/2 Cup
  • Water – 3 to 3 1/2 CUps

For tempering

  • Oil – 1 tbs
  • Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
  • Whole grams – 1 tsp
  • Dry Red Chillies – 3 (Broken)
  • Curry Leaves

Preparation Method
